Warning

It is illegal to leave trash items in the alleys unless they meet all the requirements pertaining to permitted items and containers. You will be cited if caught violating these requirements.

Dumpsters For Spring Cleanup

The City has ongoing spring and end-of-summer cleanup programs and makes dumpsters available for this purpose on one weekend during June and September.   Dumpsters will be located at the 20th and Depew (old King Soopers Store) on the north side of the property.

The City may have a hazardous materials dumpster so that residents can get rid of some of these kinds of items that have been sitting around their homes. Some items may not qualify to be dumped there. Be sure to check on your items in advance.

These dumpsters are only available to Edgewater residents for their own items and IDs will be checked. More details are available at the City Clerk's office.

Warning

It is illegal to dispose of trash in construction dumpsters placed on the street unless you have permission to do so! You will be cited if caught.

 Street Sweeping Days

Beginning in April and continuing through November your street will be swept during the second full week of each month. We will sweep on the same day your trash is collected. This means if your trash is picked up Tuesday, we will sweep your street on the second Tuesday of each month. It would be helpful if you would remove all vehicles from the street in front of your homes on the scheduled sweeping day. This would allow us to sweep to the curb line. Your anticipated cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

For delays in street sweeping caused by holidays see the Information page by selecting UP on the links above.
