| Beth began her career as a municipal clerk in June of 2005. She has worked for the City of Edgewater since January, 2007. Beth has had a diversified professional background that includes: certified paralegal; loan secretary; escrow officer; stock brokerage office manager; home daycare owner; and elementary school grants administrator. All of these have helped her prepare for the many hats that municipal clerks often wear.
Beth has been a member of the Colorado Municipal Clerk's Association since 2005. She earned her Master Municipal Clerk's designation in 2011. Beth has also received her certification from the National Association of Government Archives and Records Adminstrators. Other professional associations that Beth belongs to include: International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators, and the IIMC Athenian Leadership Society. Beth is a member of the Jefferson County Community Develop Block Grant Advisory Board and the Jefferson County Housing Authority Loan Review Committee. Beth is also a Charter Member of the Edgewater Optimist Club. Beth is a Colorado native and the third generation to be born in Denver. She is widowed and has seventeen year old twin boys. Beth enjoys gardening, reading, camping, fishing, and hiking. |
