EDGEWATER REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
ERA Meeting and Membership Information
Qualifications are as follows:
- Resident of Edgewater or a non-resident individual which shall be limited to not more than two (2) commissioners who may serve so long as each such individual is, and remains during all times (i) an owner of real property in the City; (ii) an owner or manager of a business within the City; or (iii) a duly authorized representative of such property or business owner. An individual shall be deemed to be an "owner of real property" or an "owner of a business" if the individual holds a majority ownership interest in the real property or business within the City. A "duly authorized representative" is an individual who has been and remains authorized in writing by an owner of real property or owner of a business to represent that owner as a commissioner of the Edgewater Redevelopment Authority.
- No member shall be an elected official, officer, or employee of the City; and
- No convictions for embezzlement, bribery, solicitation of bribery, perjury, subornation of perjury, or any offense involving fraud.
The Edgewater Redevelopment Authority exercises powers enumerated in Colorado Revised Statutes §31-25-101 et seq. Specifically, the Authority is responsible for curing blight conditions in the City of Edgewater pursuant to the Authority's adopted Urban Renewal Plan.
Meetings: 4th Tuesday of each month.
Meeting Place: City Hall, 2401 Sheridan Boulevard.
